We use Ibis hotels regularly, because we know what to expect. This is the first time we stayed at the Ibis TGV, the reason being that it is just in front of the Gare du Nord. The rooms are always small in Paris, this one was quite small, but then again, it had everything we needed in terms of equipment. The hotel is newly refurbished, so it's clean, everything works well, plenty of plugs; thy changed our towels and cups every day, even though we did not ask for that specifically. The staff is excellent, very polite, friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is on a main road, and there is plenty of traffic, the windows are double glazed and you cannot hear much of the hustle and bustle going down on the street - I am light sleeper, and always carry ear plugs with me, but I found the level of noise quite bearable. The price is higher here because of the location, but, of course, I find this absolutely normal. The hotel is very close to amazing pastry shops and restaurants, but also offers their own breakfast if you wish - plenty to choose from. Overall, great stay, just as I expected, would go back there.

What I like most the STAFF! All of them! Nathalia such hospitable lovely lady! What a thoughtful lady! She accommodated us with whatever we asked for like “extra pillows” and things we didn’t even ask for like tips and recommendations on transportation and best cafes to enjoy a croissant in the area! Every day at all times no matter her workload she is as friendly and professional! The rest the staff has such a fun spirit, smiles and friendliness 😍 They definitely made our stay enjoyable! And oh the staff the CHEFs in the breakfast in the eating area were so nice and friendly too! Otherwise the room space, the toilets and the facilities in general are good enough and equals the money value! Again the warm STAFF made it all that good for me! ( Nathalia, Omar, Felicia, Iben, and others I couldn’t recall the names sadly) A huge plus the hotel’s place that’s really quite central 😉

Great location to Gare de Nord ( especially if using the Eurostar) & the Metro. The room was smallish but the room we had with a balcony was wonderful!! This is not one of Paris’s best neighbourhoods but it is excellent for cafes, restaurants, supermarket, & the convenience of public transport to a lot of favourite tourist destinations. And to top it off the staff were a delight; welcoming, friendly; one staff member walked us into the Metro on our first morning to make sure we were going the right direction; how’s that for great service. And we loved the breakfasts with smiling helpful staff, nothing was a trouble. Highly recommendedrecommended

I was travelling by car from southern Italy and was meeting my wife who was arriving by Eurostar from London, so I wanted a hotel close to Gare du Nord. I found an Indigo car park around a couple of corners although was advised by the reception staff that there was a much closer car park to the hotel. Our original room was on the 2nd floor however as we were heading for the lift, the female manager asked us if we would prefer a larger room in the ground floor to which we said ‘absolutely!’. We spent two nights and slept so well as there was NO noise whatsoever! Our thanks go to all the staff at the hotel 👏👏👏

The size of the room was astounding for Paris- massive and comfortable. Massive bathroom and really very good and hot powerful shower. The beds were extremely comfortable, even the pull out one for the children. The whole place was very clean. It was a perfect stay. Staff were really great, helpful without being overbearing. I think this is the best place I have ever stayed in Paris. So close to the Eurostar, just 1 min walk. Supermarkets everywhere and metro easy and close. I will stay here again.
